MCHPS graduate NP programs

Hi, anyone currently in the MSN programs offered by MCHPS? I was accepted to an online program and it seems to really fit my budget and schedule, but a few things within the process have made me feel that it might not be a good choice, thoughts?

I have also applied to an online program-what has made you feel it isnt a good choice? I have had a hard time finding any reviews or mentions of the programs online which is kind of odd

The only 2 things I know are: (1) it's an expensive school that doesn't secure clinical placement and (2) its pharmD and PA programs were put on probation a couple years ago.

IMO, any school that makes you find your own preceptors while charging so much, or is borderline on losing accreditation (especially in its bread & butter discipline, pharmD), is not worth attending.

thanks for your answers.

it costs less than half of another school that I was considering attending, and also a significant amount less than one of the online program 2 of my coworkers attend.

what rubbed me wrong: I completed my application, I contacted them to tell them that everything was in and I got an email stating it would be reviewed and I should here in 2-4 weeks. meanwhile, I still got weekly emails that my app was not complete. after 4 weeks, I contacted them and then had to wait another 4 weeks for them to review it.

then, when I got my interview requests, there were no slots available for weeks. I made my appointment and the person was 20 minutes late contacting me, and asked to call me back. little things, but annoying, considering I got a notice stating that I was expected to be prompt and available.

anyway, I enrolled... fingers crossed... it fits my life the best.

thanks, again
