are there any current students enrolled in mcfatter's lpn program? can you pretty please give any information?

1. how much time have you dedicated to the program, are you wrking?

2. does the curriculum include anatomy/physiology, human growth, and nutrition?

3. was it fairly simple to enter the program?

4. are they strict? i've heard a couple of stories abt their sister school sheridan

5. what is the failing rate?

6. what sections are you tested on when you take the tease?

7. how are you doing in the program thus far?

thanks in advance for your help...!

hello,

you mentioned broward tech, i too was looking into their program. tution cost was also a issue for me. do you know of anyone who has actually attended? they seem to be very organized, but without really knowing how could one judge. i will stick it out and possibly attend sheridan or mcfatter.

best wishes to all on this journey!:nurse:

Hi ashy's

I was apart of the evening program so from what I heard from the Day students we had it a tiny bit easier. The instructors are very good and clinical rotations were a drag. The hospitals didn't really wants us there and were more appreciated of thr BCC RN students. The instructors were not really reasonable, we would have to put up a fight during test questions we thought were wrong. The test were extreamly hard, but study and you will do fine....

Hope thiis helped

Do you believe that you get prepared to be a good LPN?

what hospitals do you go to ?

Why do you believe that you are more relaxed?

The program was O.K., depending on the teachers.. some do teach. MOST use powerpoints. Clinical sites were mainly Memorial (they didn't let us do much) and nursing homes in Tamarac and Pembroke Pines. (A few others scattered in between.) 70% to pass the tests and the "units" 2-4 tests per unit. Average must be a 70%. I took days, however I heard nights were good as well. (Night classes definitely had less students, makes me think they might have gotten a better education with a smaller student to teacher ratio.)
