MCC student

Hi, I am in school now for RN. I am very interested in Travel Nursing when I get my degree. Can anyone please point me in the right direction. Thanks

Start reading on this very forum. Lots of information.

I graduated from MCC in 2011. I just signed my first contract for a 13 week assignment working in the ED at Johns Hopkins. This being my first travel assignment. I am clearly no expert when it comes to travel nursing but I have spent a ton of time recently researching everything. Most travel companies and the hospitals they contract with want applicants that have at least 1-3 years of recent clinical experience. Since I graduated I spent 1 1/2 years working on an acute med floor and 1 1/2 years working in the ED. When looking for travel assignments I am able to look at both ED and med/surg positions. Do you have a job lined up for after graduation?
