Has anyone graduating in May started applying to jobs? If so, any positive leads?
Thanks.

Yeah, started applying in January, still not hearing much. I don't know what to think. Not very hopeful lately
Same here. I'm worried, wish I already had a job working in the hospital.

Don't stress too much. I graduated in December and it took Atlanta hospitals until mid February to early March to contact me. I think they are a lot slower than others. Since you're graduating in May you'll probably start hearing from places in June or July. I think they like to give people time to take and pass the boards before they start hiring.
Thank you. I will keep that in mind. In the mean time, I'm looking for nurse aide work.

I graduate in May and have had several interviews. I have a job offer from MCCG in Macon and Fairview Park in Dublin. My advisor put in a good word for me at MCCG and I'm precepting in the ICU at Fairview. I also just had an interview at Coliseum. My school had a nurse career fair I got a lot of HR reps cards so I've been able to network through email. Most of em said to put in apps starting in March and some April.
