Math class?

While taking math class I have realized I am lucky to receive B's. I have always had a hard time with math. What do you guys think about getting B's in math? and how much of math or what kind is involved within nursing?

Few of us are math geniuses. I put off math until the very last minute because it was always my weak subject.

There is some math, but you're not getting into huge equations and such (eh, a little when you get into ICU meds, but really, not a ton). It's nothing you can't handle, if you do okay in everything else- don't let math hold you back from pursuing nursing. Once you get the hang of dosage calculation (there's an "aha" moment), then you can just plug most things into the same format and do fine.

If you're going for your BSN, you'll take statistics, and you'll use that in your research class when you're analyzing articles, but that's not about doing math problems.
