Hi Guys! I have seen some of you on another post, the one about UMass Fall nursing....

I applied there and to Massasoit's Evening Program. My TEAS is not the best, only 76.6.....but I have all my prereqs done and some....

Hopefully I will get in.....

Hi -I also applied for the Fall 2014-super worried knowing that this part time program only starts every three years. This program will work best for me and my family, but I am also going to apply to Curry Accel program and Quincy. I already have a bachelors degree, with a 3.1 gap, (a 3.5 gap in science) scored a 88 on Teas reading. Added up my points and I have a total of 40.5- not including the personal statement that is worth 9 (hoping I get the full 9, but not sure how they grade). When are acceptance letters go out- April or May? They only accept like 30 to the night program?

Welcome aboard Doreen314!! It sounds like you have a awesome chance of getting in with those points especially before they add your essay! I also applied to quincy and curry accelerated. The only thing with curry is that they begin review of applications June 1st .....for massasoit I think we should get decisions by April but from what I hear from the past other boards they got decisions in late May :-\

The applications for Quincy and curry aren't even due until June 1- the program doesn't start until next january. So hopefully we will know by then, and maybe I won't need to apply to them! After reading all the posts on this website, it looks difficult to get in, and in some cases it didn't make sense why one was rejected-which makes me real nervous. So I am planning on applying to curry and Quincy-hoping at least one will take me- I still have to take chemistry before I can even apply to Quincy- I signed up for one of those 7 week classes that starts in a couple of weeks and it ends in May-just enough time to get my application in.
