Marymount ABSN fall 2022

Hi! I was accepted a little while back and I am just going through admissions to see if one of my upper level sociology courses will cover the prereq!

Hey!! Do you mind if I ask what were your grades, GPA etc????

Hi, of course! I have my BS in biology so 98% of my prerequisites were covered in my first degree. I had a 3.5 overall and for prerequisites, I am unsure what my GPA. I had a B+ in A&P 1, an A in A&P2, an A- in micro, an A+ in nutrition, and A+ in lifespan and development, A+ in statistics, and I am unsure which Chemistry they took, I had a B- in one and then an S in the other. Hopefully that helps some!

Hey!! I just got my acceptance letter yesterday!! How is the program???

Congratulations @Coop07! The program has been challenging but is expected for an ABSN program. Time management and self-discipline I believe are key to doing well in the program. The professors are overall great and supportive. You meet online once a week and go over case studies, so they aren't lecture based.

I guess it depends on whether you have class that day or not. Typically classes are on Tuesdays and Fridays and since everything is online it makes it super convenient! A school day could be like a class from 8-9:30 AM and another class at 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, then studying in between classes and in the evening.
