You can download the 15th edition of the CPNE study guide from EC's website. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the link for the 15th edition.

It seems a little redundant to me to have a study guide for a study guide. The EC study guide is a GREAT resource ... it can be a little daunting at first because of the number of pages, but once you read through it a couple of times, you realize it really is your CPNE bible. :)

I have purchased all of Lynns products. I have not attended a workshop. The First start guide, if that is what your referring to, is wonderful! I had no idea how to breakdown the CPNE study guide. I looked at that book and cried! I didn't have a clue on how to start studying for this test. Lynn's books are great! I love her DVD's. There are 7 people in our hospital here in GA that attended her workshop, all of them passed first try! They swear by her!
One of our girls went to the workshop located here in GA because she knew the woman who teaches it. She told us that nothing she heard their matched up with the EC study guide. That the workshop was way off base for what she needed to pass the CPNE. She went to Lynn's workshop in Charlotte with 2 other ladies. Said she would not have passed, if she hadn't gone to Lynn's.
I fully intend to take her workshop. I am hoping she will come back to GA. Our hospital has been low and calling people off and I need to save as much money as I can.

I have a Lynns video a friend gave to me, it helps alot; but the Excelsior workshop is superior.

Do yourself a favor and stick with EC studyguide. Sometimes people get so desperate that they want to look for a simpiler way to get the information when its sitting right their undertheir nose. I recommend this site: cpnex.blogspot.com. Its free and has tons of resources. There is a studyguide that a fellow EC student put together that breaksdown the CPNE for free. It really helped me with understanding the mneumonics and the whole concept. There is also a link on their called "CPNE in Plain English" that I thought was great. Hope this helps.
