lvn background check

Hello, I am concerned about my current lvn nursing student status; orientation is scheduled to begin in about a week and a half and I have yet to receive anything concerning my background check. If don't have my background check submitted I will not be able to register for the nursing program this fall and would have to begin the application process all over again. Am I the only one in this boat or am I overreacting. Let me describe the steps i took to carry everything out to complete my background check for the kingwood community lone star college: I made an appt in kingwood near the college, arrived and completed and turned in all of the necessary paperwork, and was told that I would receive word with in 10 business days. It has been exactly 31 days and I have nothing to show for my background check... somebody pls help. Thank you ^.^

I'm afraid to say that nobody here is going to be able to help.

What I would do:

Take a deep breath.

Call the college first thing in the morning. They probably have everything you need, and they will be able to put an end to your worrying. If there is a problem, someone there will be able to tell you what you need to do.

Good luck and let us know how everything turns out.

With regards to my college, the background check once submitted, if there is a problem with the background they have your contact information and will contact you. It was far easier to tell everyone they passed background check by "no news is good news". But my college told those parameters.

Simple fix is call school ask what status of background check is.

Were they to send the background check to you or to the school? Relax, make a couple phone calls. :)
