Lump on my upper back

I was working a knot out of a friends neck and shoulder 3 days ago. Now he has a lump about the size of a jumbo hen egg. What could this be? It is soft and moveable a ng d no indication of pain when I was messing with it. I can send you a picture of it.

Hi brose8033! Welcome to AN.com!

It's great that you are doing some research for your friend's condition to help him out! However, it is against the TOS for us to give medical advice.

It'd be best if your friend sought services from an appropriate medical professional, like a physician who specializes in sports medicine.

Good luck to you and your friend!

As mentioned this is something that needs to be discussed directly with someone who can visualize the area and as per the Terms of Service of the site we cannot offer medical advice.
