Hello I am looking for some advice. I am a medical assistant and a LPN. I have not practiced as a LPN for the past 4 years, but I want to work in home health. I was told by an agency that I would need HHA training and the certificate in order to be hired. Another agency said I only need to take an assessment exam to get the certificate. Any suggestions?

    You want to work in home health as an aide or an LPN? If you want to work as a home health aide you will need your hha certification most likely.

    If you want to work for either of those agencies, you will have to do what they require in order to get hired. Or, you can go to another agency to see if you can get hired based on your previous experience and license.
