What consists of an LPN's schooling? Also, how much of the pre-reqs for the RN program need to be done to get in a LPN program?
Ive had lots of dis-information from various people lately and figured I could post here for the correct info.
Any information would be great!

Well, really it depends on the school!
At one school in my area, a comm. college, the RN program has most of the same pre reqs, but a few more than the LPN program.
Another school in my area, a hospital based LPN program, has no pre reqs. They rely only on NET score, essay and personal recommendations. This program also has an agreement with a nearby private college for advanced standing in the RN program.
Both schools are accredited by the NLN
There are also a couple of new "LPN schools" in my area. One requires you to have 800 hours work experience as a CNA. Not sure about the other, as it's REAL new! Both of these schools are approved by the board of nursing, but neither is accredited by the NLN

LVN (LPN) school is vocational. The courses rarely transfer towards RN degree, as they are not on a "college" level, even though they might share the same name. Depends on your State requirements and the school's requirements. You might save time by asking advice from Admissions at the college to which you would apply as RN. Our local ones have a list to hand out stating what is accepted from LVN and other programs. If you even suspect that you want the RN degree eventually, find out what it takes to get that degree, and work from there. Might save money on taking unnecessary courses. Good luck.
