LPN to RN

Hello All, this is my first time posting on a website such as this so please excuse any errors. A little bit of background i graduated as a LPN in 2014, passed boards in Jan. this year, but didn't start working as a nurse until September of this year as well. During that time I started the LPN to RN transition program at my school. I recently took my final exams and didn't pass, while a little discouraged I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice for the next steps. Should I take a year off focus on working, I'm currently engaged and have been putting off my wedding due to school, so should I get married now or wait until I finally get my RN?? Should I try to jump back into school? Any advice will help. Sorry for such the long post thank you.

    Don't be discouraged. Retake your test. Take a refresher that guarantees you pass the NCLEX. You won't be able to focus on a wedding or school until you have crossed this bridge, you can do it! I'm an LVN, what school did you go to?

    You have to continue.. I failed block 3 and told myself I don't want to do it again, then I was offered a spot - I took it with open arms. I finished that Block with "A". Now, I'm scared to death going in Blk 4..Finish it!!!

    No one will guarantee a pass at this point. The programs that guarantee pass (Hurst, Kaplan, etc) have specific rules: first attempt, take within 6 months of graduation from an accredited US nursing school, must complete all components of the program.

    An intense NCLEX review class with individualized attention based upon your candidate performance reports can most definitely be beneficial and push you towards success
