Hi--go to Yahoo and join nontradnurses. This is a group of EC students who share their experiences and info--there are files you can get to by looking on the right side of the homepage screen and clicking on files. It brings you to a page with all the courses organized in folders. Find lifespan development and cilck on that. There will be notes. The notes and the other group members are kind of like our lectures and classmates.

It may take a couple of days to be accepted to the group--they do that to keep out people who would use our info for spamming purposes--it's to keep the group safe....

You should also get the books and read the pages assigned in the study guide.

Good luck!

First, type in small case letters or people will think you are screaming at them. Second, I applaud your desire to jump into this program. I went to school with LVN's and some of them had trouble because they disagreed with the lectures and tests. Remember, school is an endurance test. Also, the case studies are "ideal", meaning they may not resemble anything you have experienced as a nurse. Third, expect the other students to latch onto you and suck your brain, especially when it comes to skills. You really have an advantage there. Keep us posted about your progress.
