LPN to RN program at WKU

Hi I am wondering if anyone has gone through the LPN to RN bridge program at WKU. I would love to hear feedback on the program good and bad.

Thank you.

Hi! I am also interested in the LPN-RN program.  I will be applying for the Spring semester in 2022.

Hey! I'm looking to start either Spring or Summer 2022. I've known 4-5 people who have completed the LPN-RN bridge at this school and I know someone who is currently in the program and they all talk very highly of the program. They've all said it's not super easy but the instructors are wonderful and very helpful.

Hello ladies I’m currently an LPN looking to expand my career to becoming an RN. I was wondering have you ladies heard anything else about this. I’m looking to take this online. Any advice would be grateful. Thank you.

@blessed2x Thank you for your feedback. Did you get enrolled? Do you know if you have to travel to the school for clinical? Thank you.

Hey hun. No I didn’t get enrolled. Still researching other schools as well.

@blessed2x I haven't enrolled yet. I'm actually taking my HESI exam tomorrow. To answer your question re: clinicals ... Yes you do have to travel to clinicals but it depends on where they assign you. You clinical day is either on a Monday or a Tuesday for the 2nd semester and totals to 120 hrs. 3rd semester clinicals are whenever your preceptor is scheduled and is also a total of 120 hrs. No clinicals for the 1st semester. You also have to travel for your skills check-offs but from what I understand that's only 1 day. I believe everything else is online with the exception of certain tests.
