I've been looking at that Ohio board of nursing website trying to figure out if they accept any online lpn to rn programs. I was wondering if anyone knows this information because I'm having issues finding it on their page. I know there are some lpn to rn programs that aren't online that they accept but not too many in Columbus Ohio. I've looked at excelsior but I've seen mixed reviews on here and I'm still not sure if that one is accepted in Ohio either. We will be moving from Ohio in 2 yrs to Colorado. Not sure if that matters but i will need to transfer my license there. Does anyone know this information or have experience with this in Ohio?

I have friends in Ohio that completed their RN with Excelsior, Ohio has no issues or additional requirements for Excelsior grads. Colorado requires 2000 hours of time as an RN to endorse a license for Excelsior grads. Unfortunate you are not likely to finish Excelsior in two years, let alone soon enough to get the required time for endorsement into Colorado. I believe Colorado would require you to complete a preceptorship for initial licensure by exam. Probably not the best route for you, unfortunately.
Just to add — ISU's LPN to BSN is accepted in both Ohio and Colorado: LPN-BSN track - BSN | College of Health and Human Services
