LPN to RN articulation programs

HI. Does anyone know about any LPN to RN articulation programs in northern N.J.? also, the lpn school i graduated from was not accredited.{they were in the process of getting accredited}. they did not tell me that when i signed up. :angryfire

Will that affect my chances of getting into those type of programs?

To matriculate into the RN program will depend upon whether the new school will accept your classes that you took before. Each school has its own requirements.

Were you accepted by your state BON to sit for the NCLEX-PN exam?

Lateefa,

Essex County College in Newark has an LPN to RN program. Give them a call when you get a chance.

If the BON accepted your schooling, then you shouldn't have any problem with the college for furthering your education. But ech school has its own pre-requisites, not all of them are the same.

Good luck................. :balloons:
