What is the base salary for experienced LPN's. ( Long-term) vs (Acute)

Will be looking to work in the Detroit area....Please suggest any facilitites.

Dont mean this to sound the wrong way but why do you wanna move here? Unless you are born here I dont see this as a destination to move. I've lived here my whole life so I'm cool but sometime I want to move away somewhere warmer, with a better view. When I look at ads in the sunday paper it seems like the salary quoted offered is always way more than I ever see anyone post at what theyre making. I wonder if its just bait? In the paper you can find ads saying they pay well over 20 an hour for lpn but Ive never seen anyone admit to making that much money.

I hear ya, 100%. I have no desire, and hate of the thought of moving.

I am relocating with my hubby that has been placed in a position by the Govn't. Me and my kids don't want to go, and even my hubby isn't thrilled with his new location. I am a govn't nurse as well, working with Dept of Veteran Affairs. And just in case I don't obtain a govnt' position, I wanted to know about the civilian pay rate ?

So how bad is it ?

Thanks

most of hospitals have gone to all rn's hospitals so most of the job thats avaliable for lpns are ltc or home health care. suburb ltcs pay more than detroit area. if you dont need insurance, on call positions (prn) pay more than full time position. i know alot of good ltcs so you want some info, pm me. just give me an idea of what city you are going to be moving.
