Hi,
Anyone here doing the LPN program at Columbia in Middle Tennessee? If so, what is the waitlist like? How did you like the program?
Thanks so much!!

I don't think they have one. It's ADN.
Hi there,
Thanks for responding to my question.
When you say a ADN, you mean a Associate Degree in Nursing? If so, I think that that they have one there. I checked on the school website and saw it but I was wondering if anyone knows how long the waitlist is for the program. If I read it right, there is a LPN program, a RN program and a LPN to RN program. Does anyone know how long the wait list is for these?
Thanks so much,

As far as I know there is only a associate degree nursing program. The wait list is rumored to be 200 and they accept 80 students in the spring and fall semesters, so the wait is two or three semesters. Read the website carefully, especially the FAQ's . It should clear up all your questions.
Thanks so much!

I live in columbia and did my LPN program here in town. It was through hohenwald technology center but their classrooms are in columbia.
Well. that explains why the OP thought Columbia had an LPN program!

they do an LPN program at c-state and you can also earn your ADN i'd prefer the LPN and than do the transition to an RN and the wait list is crazy!! bout 2 or 3 semsters is right maybe a little bit more!! good luck though
I never knew columbia state had a lpn program. The wait list for the rn program is very long. Where I work though, they put me through LPN school and if I choose I can go through the RN program through them and not have to wait on a list.

I was just at Columbia State a little over a year ago before I started the LPN program through the Tech center and they didnt have one then. I think a lot of ppl are getting the Tech center confused with CSCC because even though the Tech center is in Hohenwald our classes were in Columbia.

Yeah I agree with Ladybugsmom. CSCC has two options for LPN-RN but not a LPN program. Columbia is my hometown and I'm looking at moving back to apply to CSCC but the wait list is just too long.
