LPN program in Chicago

...this school sounds fishy,I hate schools that lie to get you in ..then change things around.Check ripoff report about this school....

I think unsubstantiated comments like the above do more disservice to the Nursing community as a whole. State-Approved schools go through such a rigorous approval and accreditation process (it's all about accountability, folks) that it doesn't make sense for any institution to ruin their good standing by trying to make a buck off a penny, or "lie to students" as suggested by the writer.

And even if an LPN school's process seems different from other providers, their performance record, as sanctioned and provided by IDFPR BON (the governing body for everything that pertains to Nursing in the State of IL), speaks volume of how they've faithfully served the community.

My messages were intended for other pre nursing students,not the staff of Americare...I have no beef with your school.I was just sharing my opinion-the same way that you are sharing yours.We already know that you work for the school and thats cool,but please allow others to have an opinion that may not be favorable to your program.That IS the point of people making threads and asking questions-TO GET RESPONSES.No one makes a decision to pay 20,000 for ANY college without doing research..they dont ONLY want to hear the FLOWERY NICE things about your school..They want the Whole Enchilada..the good,the bad,and the in between.

You and your staff are just making your school seem MORE fishy by attacking anyone on here who says ANYTHING negative about Americare...
