LPN pay at CMC

Hello all. I am a LPN with 9 yrs experience. What is the starting pay for a LPN at CMC ? Is the pay for a prn shift different than full time?

Featured Replies

I am an LPN.

CMC HOSPITAL does not hire LPN's for their hospital setting, although I have seen 2 openings for an ER position at CMC Kings Mountain.

CMC does hire LPN's for their "Clinical Assistant position", which is in a Doctor's Office. If you have Dr office experience they pay 13-14, if you have zero experience they will pay 11.75.

Your best bet is an LPN position in a LTC facility.

I actually have an interview at CMC. It is for a LPN/nonbedside position. I was wanting to know what the starting pay would be because I hate to go to the interview and ask for too much and not get the job. I currently work in LTC and make $19.08 hr and that is not with shift diff. I will be graduating in December 2012 with my ADN and my goal was to get in to CMC because there is room for advancement there and it is not where I currently work.

If you don't need benefits, the resource team is great!!! They start LPN's out with 27.00/hr on the website its listed under PACS/prn employment. I currently work with them as a CNAII, I just graduated LPN school, but u must have 1 yr experience.Good luck!!
