As a private duty,self-employed LPN I take my patient to school. The school does not want to increase P/T time so came up with this idea to include a "Large motor movement" time -40 minutes in her day.Guess who is suppose to do it with a 1-1 aide. What do you think?

Is this in the IEP? And what do the parent's have to say? How mobile is your patient? And what are you supposed to be doing? Is it a continuation of what the physical therapist wants done?

Hope I'm doing this correct.Had a Cse meeting requesting 5x week P/T.increase of 2 days.Pt. functions between 6months-18months.She is 16 years old and totally dependant.Due to hypothermia -P/T raises temp. the best.Parents have battle going on with school on several issues.Since school only has P/T 3x @ week providing services they refused reguest. Her new scedule came in with- Large motor Movement-some made up program with no details yet.The P/T told her aide she hoped we would just do it. I said NO.
