LPN Help!

Published

Hello:)

Do you have to become a CNA before you can become a nurse? I live in Lansdale PA and am VERY interested in becoming an LPN but don't really know where to start. How do I become a CNA? How do I get certified in CPR? I have so many questions and have been searching online, but all the programs out there seem to entail RN to BSN programs with not much about starting as an LPN. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thank you!:nurse:

I live in your neck of the woods. No you don't need to be a CNA first. However, when I was in nursing school I was a CNA. It paid good money, I worked relief so I could pick my hours around school. It also heped me a lot with school and becoming familiar where I was going to work when I graduated. MANY school around here, good luck to you!!!!!
