Lots of questions

Hi,

I have to decided to go for RN. I read that I need to take a NET test before being admitted. What exactly is on that test? Just some hints would be nice:mad: . Also anybody know any books I will need. I would like to start studying and start buying stuff now. I don't want to put all that money out all at once if I don't need too.

Thanks

Chrissy

EriWorld.net sells the NET Study Guide. I recommend it! It explains everything that you should expect on the exam.

The hardest part is the Reading, believe it or not. The Math part is basic math, basic Algebra, ratios, percentages, fractions, etc.

The Reading consist of purpose of the author, main idea, ???? (I forget!) It's not as easy as it sounds. It really tests on critical thinking skills.

There is also a 'dumb' part that asks a bunch of questions to find out how you learn, stress level, etc....just for the school to have that info.

My test was on computer, and it tested reading speed first thing.

GOOD LUCK!

Eriworld's book is the only guide I recommend... basically for the reading part.

Pay close attention to how they word their questions. That's the kicker... Once you understand what exactly they're looking for, then you should do fine.

I have to take the NET soon, too. I just wanted to wish you good luck! I'm sure you'll do well. :)
