Hi, I have to decided to go for RN. I read that I need to take a NET test before being admitted. What exactly is on that test? Just some hints would be nice:mad: . Also anybody know any books I will need. I would like to start studying and start buying stuff now. I don't want to put all that money out all at once if I don't need too. Thanks Chrissy

Hi He drinks 8 oz at a time so it's about 32 oz of milk at night. He just seems to not get enough to drink. I don't know. He doesn't seem dehydrated. He eats and drinks all day long. His eyes are fine. Not sunken in at all. When he cried he had tears. He is going to bathroom alot too. Thanks for your insight though. Calling the doc now. I will let ya know. Thanks again Chrissy

Hello, I wanted to have my 18 month old son tested for diabetes but no one wants to listen. So I will ask you your feeling on this. My son gets up at least 3 times for a drink in the middle of the night. Then dismorning he woke up and I changed his hiney and his urine is extremely sticky. So the only thing I can think of is sugar in urine which leads to diabetes. Anybody have any insight? Should I demand a diabetes test on him? Thanks Chrissy

Hi, I had a baby 8 weeks ago. I had numerous varicous veins down there. Well recently I had gotten hermroids (sp). Everytime I have BM there is blood everywhere in the stool and alot of it in the toilet. Well last night my DH and I dtd and as we were I was in alot of pain in my buttox area. Do you think that was from the hemroids? Any ideas??? Thank you Chrissy mom of 5 now

I know you really can't say anything becasue I am not a patient of yours but maybe you can help me out.. Yesterday I have been having contractions every 3 - 4 minutes and they are all in my back. I went to L & D and they checked me and I am still 2 cm dilated 50% effaced andshe is high up. The contractions were peaking at 113:angryfire . The doc said I would have broken your water and let ya go if she would have been down. So they had me walk the halls for an hour and see what happens. So they hook me back up and I was the same contractions still coming and strong. Then they send me home and said wait untill they get stronger...how much stronger can they get LOL. I know they can but come on. Anyhow any ideas on how to get her to move down? I am scared of a c section and for some reason I have a feeling that is what is going to happen. Hello, You are probably sick of me asking these questions. Anyhow around the forth of July. I was at a picnic. A little girl there had the rash of fifths disease. (I don't know why I wasn't informed before I got there) I was 21 weeks preggers at the time. I called my ob and the nurse told me at the stage of the pregnancy I should not worry. She said most women already had it and I am out of the danger zone. I am still very worried. I go in next Thursday for me 24 week check up. Hi, I am hoping it goes fast. This heat is a killer. I am having a girl. I have 3 boys and a girl already. My daughter can't wait for a playmate. I wasn't even trying for a baby but she is very much wanted. I was on the birth control patch. Which now I am glad I got pregnant from what I've been reading it's not a very good thing to use. Hello, I rather have it right after baby, but my OB said we would have to wait 6 weeks. I would rather opt for a csection haha. No really my Ob said that to many gilrs were waiting 24-48 hours after having the baby to get it the operating room. Which he said You won't be allowed to eat anything and it's to long to wait. He also said that the tissue right there is sensitive and he would like to wait untill 6 weeks ppd. Chrissy

Hi, I am due with my last baby in Nov. I was thinking about breastfeeding. My doctor informs me that my ruebella count is low and I will the vaccination right after I have the baby. Can I still breastfeed with that shot? Also as I stated before this is my last as I will be getting my tubes tied 6 weeks after I have the baby. Will I be able to breastfeed with those kinds of drugs that they admin. or will I have to pump before? I am so confused LOL. Thanks for all your help.
