Looking for rn-bsn program for fall

Published

Hi all I just finished my ADN degree in May and am looking for an rn-bsn online/distance program that I haven't missed the fall deadline for. Also I'm a bit confused about how out of state tuition works with on line programs. I've researched the programs in my state and didn't have much luck, I've either missed the application deadlines or they're on campus which I just can't fit in right now. I applied to Ohio University for the August but I would like to apply to other schools so I'll have options if Ohio University doesn't work out for some reason. Not to mention despite all my research I'd say I'm overlooking programs. I looked at UoP, Chamberlain, Drexel, and Thomas Edison but they are so expensive. I strongly considered WGU but I'm iffy about the gpa thing. I've looked at so many programs they're starting to become a blur lol. If anyone has any suggestions for programs I could look at I would appreciate them so much, thanks guys!:)

I, too, was in the same boat...did tons and tons of research until my head was spinning. Then I found this site, which has been so helpful. I was looking at UoP, Walden U and TESC, but ended up going with Chamberlain. They have 7 core nursing classes and 7 gen ed, which could be less with transfer credits. I have not started classes yet, but so far the admission process has been smooth. And I am told Chamberlain has no group projects, which I hear can be absolutely horrible. Read around, there are plenty of helpful threads!!:)

Chamberlain is the best thing I have ever done. The credits are more expensive, but they are generous with transfer credits, so I figured it all evened out in the end. I had to do 10 classes, 7nursing/3 GE, and have completed the program in 10 Months. Plus they do all the financial part for you, set up your classes for you, and basically bend over backward to make it painless. I cannot recommend them enough.
