Looking for a Preceptor

Hello everyone.

I am reaching out to allnurses for a clinical preceptor. I am in my second semester of FNP school. I am looking for an NP/MD/DO/PA in the Atlanta area, and will need 135 clinical hours in family practice. Dates are January 11, 2016 - April 22, 2016. This will be my second clinical rotation. My background is in ER and ICU.

I am also using all my contacts in and around me. I just wanted to put a post out as well :)

Thanks

PM me if interested in a motivated student.

Good luck, Bobbi!

Where did you precept? I’m having issues finding places.

Did you end up finding good preceptors? This is my biggest concern with starting the program.

I had fantastic preceptors, but no leads from All Nurses. I reached out to all my local contacts and also did a lot of cold calls. However this was back in 2016/2017.

Right now many practices are not taking students due to COVID (including mine). You may want to wait until this is all over......

Good Luck

I would be starting the program this year and wouldn't need preceptors until next but this is my biggest concern. Do you mind sharing where you ended up going for yours? I just want to be as prepared as possible! Or could you be a possible preceptor?!

LOL this is the state of NP education...this is why no one takes our doctorate seriously.
