Looking for a new job!!

Hey everyone!,

I took the WCEI wound care course at the end of April, & I am happy to say I PASSED!!!!! :balloons: Problem is, now I need a new job. I'm burnt out @ the LTC I'm at, & they don't exactly acknowledge my new education. Paid for it on my own, because I'm facinated with wounds & the healing of them! I live in central Pa, Altoona, specifically. I'm love to be in a hospital setting, although it's not necessary. Any suggestions/ help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, you guys are great!!!

Was looking for a little info about the WCEI wound training you took...I'm interested in specializing in wound care and was wondering if this was the best class to take? Any info would be greatly appreciated...Thanks, Debbie

Hi Jennifer,

I to took the wcei and passed personally it has not helped me at all, most places do not recongnize wcei. It's been since last august and I'm still looking.

I'm curious if most places don't acknowledge wcei certification...what certification do they want you to have?
