Looking to move...

Hi All,

I currently live in NJ and work for a homecare agency doing mostly pediatrics. My parents live in a very rural part of NC and I am thinking about moving closer to them. I defiantly do not want to live in such a rural area but I do want to be close enough to see them often. They live near Winston Salem. I was thinking about Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area which is about an hour to two from them I believe. I would like to stay working with pediatrics or even go to a hospital if it is available, because in NJ I don't have the option of working in a hospital as an LPN. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what the base salary is like there because I know it will be less than here, and what the basic rent and so on would be in that area. I am only in my 20's so I'd like to find a somewhat metro area, if that exists down there haha. :D Any help is appriciated!
