If I'm a RN in the PA and I find it's very hard to find a job in currently; if I want to apply in other states do i reference my current states Lic # and if I'm offered a job do I then apply for a license in that state. It's looking more like I'm going to apply in a different state then my license will be and I want to make sure I go about it properly.

You would be better off obtaining a license in the State you want to practice before applying for jobs. In this economic climate it would be a very rare employer who would hold a job, possibly for months, while waiting for a new hire to obtain their license.
That's exactly what I thought...thanks for confirming.
