I know this isn't exactly nursing related, but I'm a 1st year nursing student who is planning on moving around August to somewhere in the Lincoln Park/Wrigleyville area. If anyone knows of places that will be for rent at that time, I'm looking for studios, 1br, and/or roommates. Let me know if you guys know of anything :yeah:

Did you try looking on Craigslist? There is always apt. posted just type in "Lakeview" or "Wrigleyville" and enjoy the hunt!

You're looking in Lincoln Park/Longview? On the DePaul GradPLUS housing allowance? Good luck finding a place you can afford - hope you have roommates.
I found my place in Edgewater off Craigslist (well, actually, I found a rental agency through CL and had them show me what else they had) so that's a decent option. If you don't feel like doing as much work yourself, you can always try looking through Chicago Apartment Finders. Their office is just off the Bryn Mawr stop.
Also, if you can't find a good and affordable place in LP/Longview, Edgewater and Roger's Park are just an L ride away, though I'm sure you know that. :-P
By Longview I meant Lakeview. It was late and I was tired...
I'm more looking in Wrigleyville than Lakeview, and the reason I'm moving is so that I don't have to spend as much as I currently am on housing (which is much more than I should be for LP or LV). I've got my loans budgetted out, and I'm also working about 24 hours/wk, so hopefully I can find something that's a bit more in my realm of affordability.
Wrigleyville is in Lakeview...
As I said before, Edgewater and Rogers Park are both cheaper than Lakeview or Lincoln Park - or, if you pay the same amount, you'll get a much better place up here. Sure, you're 15-20 min farther via L from campus and the Lincoln Park/Lakeview nightlife, depending on where you end up, but that's not so bad.
