Four years ago I got into some trouble and hate to say I have a criminal background. I have completed all of my cna class and wating to take the state test. Hoping to find out what types of convictions will prevent me from getting my licencse. Although I have a background, there are no felonys. Do you think I will have problems?

State BONs handle these situations on a case-by-case basis, taking into account all the relevant information, so there is no way anyone here can advise you about the probably outcome of your particular situation. Also, we cannot give legal advice here.
Your best bet is to speak directly to your state BON and be v. honest with them about your situation. Their opinion is the only one that matters! :)
Best wishes --

Will I be able to go to nursing school with a criminal record?
