how long did you study before the teas

Sorry, if this has already been asked. When did you begin studying and how often? what study guide(s) did you use and what we're your scores. Seems like ppl ask one of the Qs might as well put all the info in one place.

I have about a month or so to study I've gotten through the math section in the ati study guide I'm now starting the science section. I'm so freaked out at the thought of doing bad *shudders*

I took the TEAS 3 times:

1st time in August 2012...scored 72.2% w/o studying

2nd time in April 2013...studied 2 weeks...scored 82.0%

3rd time just yesterday...studied a week and a half...scored 87.3%..(yay!)

What I suggest you do is study your weak areas. I am good at reading, so I did not study that. I am weak in math and English so those were the 2 sections I studied the most. Science is so random, so I just studied basic chem/bio concepts.

I used the ATI manual...HIGHLY recommend. The last time I took the test, I studied the manual in addition to McGraw-Hill's 5 TEAS practice tests.

With the McGraw-Hill, I just tested myself in Math & English...again, my weak points.

Do not freak out!! You will do fine! Good luck
