I was wondering what the best LNA program is in the Manchester NH area ? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Watch for ads in the Union Leader. A lot of Nursing Homes offer LNA courses and then employment with them afterwards. Hope that helps!

Fascinating. I don't want to hijack the thread, but is this a regional change in title? Are the NA's considered "licensed" versus "certified?" I wonder if this is merely semantics or whether there is some reasoning behind the title change.

In my state (New Hampshire) they are issued licenses from the Board of Nursing just like we are. They have continuing education requirements that they have to maintain to keep their licenses. I'm not sure how long it's been Licensed vs Certified. Pam

Hi!

I received my training through the Red Cross of Manchester, and it was a great program. I took the day program and was done in 8 weeks. The instructers at the Red Cross were absolutely wonderful!! I highly recommend going through them.

I'm interested in LNA and I heard that some LNA courses you have to pay for and some are free. I found an LNA course that seems reasonable price wise, but does anyone know where any LNA courses are for free? If so could you let me know I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
