Linear Algebra?

Hello,

Has anyone ever taken a university-level LINEAR ALGEBRA course? If so, what did you think of it? I do not meet the high school mathematics requirement for the nursing program I want to get into but it can be replaced by a three credit university-level algebra course and so far I've only found linear algebra which I'm really apprehensive of doing. :o

Thanks.

By the way, CritterLover, I did not take the diagnostic math assessment yet.

Linear Algebra and College Algebra have amost nothing to do with each other. I am a math geek - took Calc I my freshman year in high school. I was one class short of a math minor when I got my first degree, and linear algebra was the class I was too scared to take. At my school it had several prereqs, which I had taken already, and was also heavily computer-based - that was the part that scared me. 10 years ago I wasn't very computer savvy. It is a HIGH level math course, not a substitute for regular algebra.

Thanks for your input! What algebra course would you recommend?
