line graph help!!!!

hello... i am working on an assignment for psychology and trying to figure out something that i have to finish tonight. my professor gave us a list of the classes scores on a recent test and told us to give the mean, median, mode and range. here's the part that is throwing me for some dumb reason. he wants me to establish a line graph showing the respective scores in decending order from highest to lowest for the class, plotting the scores against the independent variable versus the dependent variable. how would i set this up? what would go on the vertical axis and what would go on the horizontal axis? i fele like a complete retard, help!

I could be wrong, but it sounds to me like you only have one data set--the scores, which you can arrange from highest to lowest, from left to right along the x (horizontal axis) and put a tick mark for the values on the y (vertical axis) to show "how high" the scores are. The only other factor involved here is the FREQUENCY of certain grades (which affects the mean, median and mode)....For example, if we arrange the scores like this: 50, 50, 60, 65, 65, 65, 70, 80, 85, 90, 90, 90, 95...the mean (average) is 73.5, the median (middle score) is 70, and the mode (most frequent) are 65 AND 90.
