Life Span Developmental Psych

I am taking this exam on Tuesday and I am kind of freaking. I just got a 64% on form A which is lower than I usually do on the first one. I have already taken Human Growth and Dev. but EC said it didn't cover the whole life span so I didn't get credit :-( I am using instacert.com, the textbook, the practice exams and flashcard exchange. So far instacert is good but there is like 900 flashcards for HGAD CLEP and I am not sure how similar that is to the Excelsior exam.

Was just wondering if anyone who has taken this exam has any advice? Thanks everyone :-)

Are you talking about ls2? If so i took it today and made a c. Lots of mental health from all ages. Not too many meds. Def a hard test but def doable. I used saunders as i do for all my tests. Hope this helps!

Lifespan was a pretty straight forward exam, i only used the CLEP book and I passed withe ease! Good luck!

No I took LS2 already :-)

I meant the social science class. It's so boring. I think I have post-nursing exam-itis.

Thanks for the tips Tasha!! I work this weekend and then I test Tuesday so it's probably too late to get anymore study materials, I am just going to read over SG101... the material looks familiar, I just can't get the theorists straight.

i don't think there was a lot of theorist questions, maybe some about freud, erikson, and maslow to be honest. i think it was more developmental milestones and areas than anything!

Tasha, my ENTIRE exam was theorist questions, LMAO.

I thought I failed. For real. I hadn't even heard of half the names on there. Thank God there was alot of Erikson. I think that's what saved me. I ended up with a B... but I think it was a divine intervention. :-)

Glad to have that one behind me. Sociology CLEP on 5/10.... and then FCCA AND CPNE!!! It's so close!!!! :-)

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! I'm so happy for you. I'm 6 credits and a few transcript evaluations from my FCCA/CPNE. I am getting super burnt out too and keep checking for my updated eval with my last passing grade and everything on it but they are being super slow and it's kind of disappointing. It will update a couple times big time though showing a bunch of classes done so it will be a big pick-me-up if it ever happens. If it's not done by Monday they will start to hate me and my speed dial :D
