As a freshman i am starting to see that. You have to be your own teacher in a way.

So all the bad reviews were true?? How are you doing in your classes? Are you a day or evening student? If evening, what's your class schedule like? And where did you take the Ethics class? I'm starting at LICHSON next Fall and still need to take Ethics....I'm so nervous because of all of the negative reviews I've read.

Well just my luck as an evening student we had 1 prof for both classes and she was 1 of 3 lab instructors. she was great. the classes are a lot of work more than i thought i could handle. its a lot of studying which is hard for me. Classes were but it may change i think mon 6-920 tues clinicals 6-11(10 was the latest we got out) weds 6-1045(2 classes but we never got out later than 930 maybe once) that clinical sched depends on the day u have clinicals it was either tues or friday. and lab thurs 6-920. I did ok this semester but next semester will be very challenging so we will see.

Thanks! so it's pretty much 4 days/wk.... for some reason Barbara told me we can pick which THREE days we want...i knew that didn't sound right. I'm taking Micro at Nassau next semester but was told Ethics didnt match LICH's course description

I have kids(2) and i dont work now but looking. i still owe ethics and nutrition so i will be taking it over the course of the 3 years.

O wow!...I was told I had 2get them before I started which is why I didn't start last Fall...ah well...&i hav a 1yr old & a husband (so I guess I have 2 kids too lol j/k) but it's good 2know tht u made it through the 1st semester despite all of the negative reviews people hav posted. Thanks a lot for responding...u put my nerves at ease a little bit & even gave me some encouragement!

day pre reqs and night are different

Hi if any one still uses this forum but o just applied for fall 2011 n took my teas on the 9th .I was wondering if anyone can give me insight on the school and how it is... my pre req are mostly B's n I'm getting my teas scores Monday.... is anyone out there!!!! Thx I'm advance

hi tastemocha, i also took the teas on the 9th, so we were in the same room. i have heard form many that once your gpa is 2.5 or above you are good. and the lady at the testing said that there is no passing or failling on the test. but she could not tell me the score requires for passing which worries me. she said they look at the whole application. so i guess we should just pray for the call.

Hope so but reading through previous post there guidelines for acceptance are pretty weird its either ur great or your below average... I got my results on Friday didn't have to wait the weekend, I wasn't to pleased but when I saw the program average I was more comfortable with my score. I'm gonna call them first thing Monday ( if they don't beat me to it) and make sure theu have everything good luck
