Well just my luck as an evening student we had 1 prof for both classes and she was 1 of 3 lab instructors. she was great. the classes are a lot of work more than i thought i could handle. its a lot of studying which is hard for me. Classes were but it may change i think mon 6-920 tues clinicals 6-11(10 was the latest we got out) weds 6-1045(2 classes but we never got out later than 930 maybe once) that clinical sched depends on the day u have clinicals it was either tues or friday. and lab thurs 6-920. I did ok this semester but next semester will be very challenging so we will see.

As a freshman i am starting to see that. You have to be your own teacher in a way.

No, you can only apply to the day or night program. I picked the night because at the time i was working(currently unemployed) and i had all the pre reqs for the night program.

CONGRATS HUN, I am very happy for you. I have been having some reservations about LICH as well. I got accepted into the night program, but the horror stories about the school itself has me wondering. Well unlike you i only applied to LICH and Beth Israel. I had just started the application process so i took the first thing smoking. I have heard that the facilities are outdated and that's the reason why i just ordered me a laptop. When i dropped of my deposit last ttuesday they were still doing interviews. All we can do inspite of what we are given is do out best in the program come fall. Again congrats and have a great summer.

I don't know for sure. I think they may be done because the committee met today and last friday. I think the professor who called me was calling all those who got accepted after the committee review.

this is what i posted on another discussion: Well i will say that i am the odd man out on this one. I scored a 70% on the Teas exam. My gpa is 2.89 and my grades for the night program are as follows eng A-, A&p 1 and 2 B, psy A-, microbio A, and devel psy C+. I called LICH 2 weeks ago and my app was sent for review. I received a call on 5/19 for an interview on 5/20. The interview was ok, but i got flustered on the essay that they ask you to write that i knew about in advance from reading the blogs on here. In the end whatever i did worked cause i got my call today to say that i have been accepted for the fall of 2010. You don't have to be an A student to get into LICHSON. You have to be of a certain quality. You have to want to be a great nurse, know that you can and go for it. Don't get me wrong good grades count, but obviously they look at more than that. I didn't have any volunteer experience, but i worked for a GI doctor for 9 years up until 3/2010. There are so many variables that can make someone a good candidate for LICHSON. So to all who read this keep trying. Also good luck at Touro. Your foot is in the door and that is all that matters.

I just got accepted and i didnt think i had a chance. I dont know essentially what made the difference for me but perseverance is the key. I called and made sure my app was in and if it had been reviewed. I got a call a week later to come in for the interview and received my call today saying i got accepted.
