Licensure

Hey :)

Im a german nurse with a greencard. Thats why I want to move to the US and get my nursing licence there.

I have a friend in VA, thats why I thought to get my VA licence.

So I need the cgfns for this state and also the english language proficiency test.

Im not sure if this would be the best state to get my licence in.

I read, that in CA I would not need cgfns, is this true?

Also, if I want to transfer my CA licence to a VA licence, would I need to start over with cgfns?

    In most cases it is better to register with the state you plan on living and working in. In most cases when endorsing license and trained outside the country the requirements are the same as if initial application
