Licensure in multiple states?

More out of curiosity at this point, but I had considered getting my Nevada licensure in addition to my existing CA license. Does applying for licensure in another state then void your license in the first state, or do you then hold licensure in both?

    you can hold as many licenses as you want as long as you maintain registration and pay fees
