Licensure from CA to WA

I have seen posts about licensure by endorsement into CA, but rarely any about licensure from CA to another state. I have my RN license for CA, and am applying for my WA license. I'm in a time crunch because of a residency program. I already sent in my paperwork to WA and received an email saying they got it, and sent in the verification paperwork to CA at the same time. I know it is basically just a waiting game from here. I'm just looking for any advice on any way I can speed up the process. Would it be bad to call the CA BRN? I know it says not to on the website so I have avoided it thus far. Thanks in advance ?

    You can call the CA BON, but it's rare that they answer. And if they do answer and you don't meet their criteria for calling, they will not tell you anything.

    California will not care if you're in a hurry. Whatever you need from them, just follow the instructions, exactly, then wait.
