Licensing question

So. I'm working on getting my license in TX, and the BON there says I have to have MN and MD ( my other two states I hold licenses) send a PAPER copy in to TX verifying my licensure-

Um, what? When I got licensed in MD, their BON just used the online license verification for MN to verify, because, ya know it is the 21st century

what in the world TX????

I applied for endorsement and my original license was AZ (a compact state). I had to pay Nursys to send my info to TX.

Not sure why they need PAPER copies?!?

I am in limbo with them right now and my app has been with the BON in TX for over 4 months.

Good luck!

So did y'all speak to actual people and ask them these questions? What does their website policy say? I'm curious too.

same here, they are taking so much time to process my license.. its been four mons..

I don't think MN participates in nursys verification. They're not a compact state either. I just looked on mine and it said MN wasn't a part of it, so, yes, they would need you to have the MN BON send your license verification to TX BON but you should be able to have nursys send your MD verification. I just got my permanent TX license on Tuesday. I was licensed in MO and it took almost 2 months exactly. I sent multiple emails and tried to call to get updates in that time, but never heard back.

How long did it take to receive your temp tx license after applying for endorsement?
