Licensing Dept in MI

Does anyone know of how to get the Licensing Dept in MI to speed up even the temp license processing. I called them about 2 weeks ago and they said that if applying for a license by endorsement and requesting a "temp" as well, the "make those priority"..... but how long is priority?? I am licensed in WI and I hate that off all neighboring stated MICHIGAN is not compact. Very frustrating and annoying because you can't work, can't even apply for jobs because when they look up your license, it doesn't come up. Very annoyed!!

    I don't think you can speed them up. Believe me I called and you get not much from them. All they seemed to do was look up the same info that I could look up online by myself and repeat it to me. Good luck. Hopefully the wait is not too long for you.
