License Verification Search

I'm looking for a friend who I graduated from nursing school with (the only other guy in my class). He moved to Ohio right after school but I checked the Ohio website and he is not licensed there. Is there ONE place I can go to check if he has a valid license without going to every state's website?

The only thing I know of close to it is Nursys, but you have to specify the state and not all states belong to it. If he applied for reciprocity somewhere, Ohio may know that. They might not tell you, though. Have you checked with Alumni relations at your alma mater?

Unfortunately, you will need to do a search state by state, but in most cases you will only find that they have a license in that state. Most do not post any other information than that. The state Boards of Nursing are not connected and are separate entities.
