Are letters of recommendation just as good if sent by e-mail or is it better to have a hard copy with a signature and the organizations logo??

Some places may be changing to reflect our increased dependence on computers and technology.
However, if I were having to make the decision of whether to hire someone or not, I would definitely prefer to have a hard-copy, on letterhead, letter of recommendation.
That's exactly what I thought.
Thanks for the response.
