Let the Countdown Begin

I have 21 days until my final for my 1st semester of nursing school. I can't believe it!!! I remember painstakingly counting down the days until nursing school FINALLY started and in a flash the semester is over!!!

I have:

3.5 more days of lecture

3 more clinical days (with no care plans in sight woo-hoo!!)

2 more lab days (and no skills!!!)

1 exam + final exam

1 Kaplan Test (which does not go towards our grade).

Aside from the final, I can say I'm golden for now. Ok, maybe not because our next test and final include fluid& electrolytes, bwahahahaha. But, I am sitting comfortably at a 92%. Unfortunately that translates into a B+ instead of the A I would love, but I'm not stressing about that.

Where are you at the end on this semester?

Yay! Exciting!

My last day is December 11.

I had my last clinical today - received my evaluation and passed! Today is the last day of the week for classes for Thanksgiving break.

Next week I have 2 labs to make up from maternity leave, so 2 days. I have an A&P quiz and lab practical. Regular lecture that Friday.

The following week is finals week - Wednesday and Friday.

I'm sitting at a high A for A&P and borderline A/B in Fundamentals. If I score a 91 or better on the final, I'll just make an A. I honestly can't believe it's already the end of the semester. It's gone by incredibly fast. I honestly thought I wouldn't get past clinicals. My first clinical day was awful. Completely awful. It made me wonder if this was the right path for me as I didn't think I'd get past shyness/nerves, but for the most part I have. It's been a progression and will continue to be throughout school and probably early career. I've enjoyed clinical much more since I've started to chill out some.
