Leaving nursing, but not for forever!

Ive been looking for a way out of nursing for awhile and I finally found a job where I can use my nursing diploma without being in direct patient care.

I just got accepted to work as a dosis adviser for people who use anti-blood clotting medicine. I work with a team of 20 advisers and a few doctors. The selection procedure was really tough and I got chosen from a group of 20 nurses applying (was very surprised when I heard they were really impressed with me!)

You have to do a seperate training but you get paid for the training and its on the job training as well.

I will be working 24 hours a week, with 3-4 free days a week! Paid vacations and no working on holidays. Also I can even ride my bike to my work its so close by!

Im staying up to date with nursing though by continuing reading forums and keeping up with nursing literature. But for my BODY and my MENTAL health I think this is the best choice.
