So I just finished my second week of nursing school. (started third) I got really sick all last week and took a couple days off from studying. Week one I was pretty much all caught up but now im so behind. I have to learn about 10-12 chapters of material this week. Luckily we have had two snow days in a row. Ive studied probably 16 hours over the last two days but im still so behind. I swear I will never let this happen again. Im really stressing. Sorry to post this I just needed to vent I guess. It definitely my fault for letting myself get this far behind so early in.

You studied for 16 hours in two days?? That's an awful lot.
If you keep that up you are going to burn out before the semester is over. It's not the quantity of hours you study, it's the quality.
Study smarter, not harder.

Yeah I did. which isnt unusal I used to study for like 12 hours in a day for patho (with breaks). But yeah I agree. its just my usually way of studying takes for ever and doesnt seem to be effective in nursing school. maybe I should learn a new method..
