LCC Accelerated Program

Does anyone happen to know what the point value was for admission for the accelerated (2nd degree program) at LCC this year? I plan to apply for this coming year. I should have 53-54 points. I think there's a possible 75 if you have a doctorate and maximum work experience.

Are you talking about the LPN-RN? I just graduated as a LPN and I was thinking of going there for the accelerated bridge.

I have not went to talk to them just looking at their website. If this is the program your talking about if you find out info would you let me know? Thanks :)

no, not the LPN-RN program, but the accelerated 2nd degree program for students already holding a bachelors in another discipline

I will try to find out what the point value for admission this term was. I was part of the first class of the accelerated program that graduated this past May. My sister in law just found out she will be starting in the class that starts in September so I will ask her how many points she had.

Thank you! I'm hoping to start next fall.

So I spoke with my sister-in-law and she said that the cut off for the group that is starting next month was 44 points out of the 70 or 75 that are available. The accelerated program may end up being easier to get into than the traditional full time program because I believe the cut off for the full time program is getting pretty close to 80 out of the 90 points available.

Thank you so much for finding that out for me! That really alleviates some of my stress since I'm well above the cutoff for this year, and I can't imagine the cutoff raising 10 points or more in one year.

Thank you!
